When a suspected spinal injury demands fast, stable extrication, the Rise 16" Spineboard Kit is ready. Heavy-duty shell construction builds all the strength into the shell itself — no internal stiffeners — making this one of the most X-ray translucent backboards available, so patients can be imaged without leaving the board. The complete kit arrives rescue-ready with buckle straps and a universal head immobilizer.

The item was actually backordered and the order had to be cancelled because it wouldn't arrive in time for our needs. Customer service was helpful. We were disappointed that the board and headpiece couldn't be shipped to us separate from the full kit (the backorder was due to straps not being available) with the straps to be shipped later. We also requested a different set of straps as a substitute, but we were told that couldn't be done either. In the end, we would have loved to have ordered this, but with the delay due to just the straps, we couldn't wait and risk not receiving it in time for our lifeguard certification course.
